Another step...
Being a widow is a very difficult person to be. Everything reminds me of my husband and as you may have noticed, I still speak of him as being my husband in the present tense...and I am not sure that I will ever stop doing that. So where does that leave a young lady with two kids in Kissimmee, Florida? Although I still am not ready to start dating, I miss having my best friend around to share the good, the bad, and the ugly. When the kids do something amazing, I am the only one there to appreciate its brilliance. When I have another project to complete before going to bed or before the kids' bedtime...I can't because my kids are my first priority and my work will have to wait or be incomplete. The unfortunate part of this is that when I say that I am really busy...I am not sure that anyone quite understands what that means from a widow's perspective. The busy I get to feel is not the same as the busy I felt when my husband was around. No matter how busy I was, he always was able to take the edge of busy away and all was manageable, because he was there to pick me up if I fell. Busy as a widow...is completely different than busy as a person with a partner. It is just is. I say this from the perspective of a person whom has always had more on her plate than she should...my plate can never be that full again. My goals now are to simplify my life so that my kids never are negatively impacted by the activities in my life, work or school. As all--> most parents believe, our kids are our first priority and are the reason for working and improving ourselves. With this we need to always ask ourselves are we taking on this project to keep our family strong...strongest or are we doing it to propel us forward in life, to gain high status, more money, better things. If so, are these things worth it and are they making our families stronger? My next steps are to continue to simplify my life and keep my family bonds strong.

Building a following
From a marketing perspective, what is the best way to drive traffic to an entity? Anyone...anyone? From my perspective, years of project management, home restoration, start ups, real estate, and medical research I have found that if you stick to the same goal it will eventually work. Over all things, persistence and drive win out. It helps to have tons of money; however, my research team and I did not have a lot of money when we tackled the problem of treatment of concussions in sports and now preventative measures to keep athletes healthy in the NFL and NHL are taken for each and every insult discovered by the coaches and medical teams, because they now know that unresolved mild traumatic brain injury could impair those wealthy athletes' brains for the rest of their lives. And my team and I did not have a lot of money when we started a visual jockeying business in San Francisco, called eRoomz and now all that is seen as a back drop at concerts, nightclubs, and corporate functions is moving visuals to make rooms come alive. These small, grass roots projects that were started with a small group of dedicated people took off because of perseverance, drive, and dedication. I see the same qualities in my Immortal team. If my past is a sign of our future success then, with or with out me Immortal the Musical will touch millions of people one way or another. Off to push the momentum forward this evening with my team.

Letting the world know...
Finally...finally...finally I am letting the world know about my secret project. My secret project involves my participation in helping to get an amazing musical, entitled Immortal The Musical to Broadway in 365 days. My passion is singing great quality light opera songs or musical theater songs, well I have found great songs in this show and I am super grateful that the production crew of Immortal tolerates me singing the songs to them and to prospective audiences.
My lovable group of characters even had me sing in the middle of McDonald's as an improvisational event/show. The response was great and it was an interesting experience. Far different than singing in front of strangers on stage and much more exciting. I wonder when I will have the opportunity to serenade another again? Do you know anyone whom would like to be romanced...by me?
